Jacob is an award-winning visual artist in both painting and photography.
Born in Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso, into a family of farmers and merchants, he studied automobile and industrial mechanics, graduating at the top of his class in Industrial Design.
A few years after immigrating to the United States in 2003, he studied Business Administration at the University of the District of Columbia, where he earned a place on the Dean’s List for excellent academic achievements.
When not at work in his studio, his hours are given to reading, gardening, fitness, design, and travel, the slow and steady pursuits that quietly find their way back into his work.
